Kit # 38457

This kit is an oldie but a goodie. it's from the era when the engines had a hole in them for a metal axle to go through. That being said, it is what you make of it. I built this kit as a gift so I needed the body style. had it not been for that I probably wouldn't have built it.

Pros: It's the only 1966 Buick Wildcat kit I know of. The emblems were nice and crisp and covered easily with foil. There wasn't much flash and the fit of the interior tub, body and chassis as nice and required no do9inking with at all.

Cons: There is a metal axle going through the engine, the engine bay and interior detail leave a lot to be desired. The engine has the starter and oil filter cast into it. The interior is void of detail, especially the door panels and dash. The chassis is a one piece affair and detailing it is a struggle.

Over all on a scale of 1-10 this one gets a 4.
