My new best friend......
...... no, not a dog, but this little gizzmo.
Some of you guys may already be familiar with it but boy this little thing has transformed my application of MEK.
Touch and Flow it's called.
You suck up the MEK just as you would in a glass pipette.
It's not cheap but worth every penny in my book. You can apply the smallest drop or draw along a seam and it applies the MEK perfectly.

I actually bought mine a few years ago but misplaced it before I could use it. Just found it again a few days ago.

I do the same thing but use micro brushes of different sizes to do it. If I need a lot of MEK I use a bigger brush. if I am tacking something together for a mockup or test fit then I use a little one.

Re: My new best friend......
Micromark Tools, here in the US, has these for $7.95. Don't have one, but will have to get one.
I use Micromark's small loop applicator for thin CA, and it works great. For thicker CA, I end up just using a round, sharp toothpick. Cheap, and gets that very small bit of thick CA just where I need it. Using a lot of metal, I use a lot of CA instead of the MEK or liquid cement. This Touch and Flow just might be the ticket for accelerator application!
Thanks for the tip Al!

NP Pete.
Buck I have been using mirco brushes for many years but this kicks their butt out of sight. It also has the advantage of staying 'loaded' for some time, alleviating the need for constantly dipping the brush in the solvent.
