Looking great Colin. Those rivets look spot on 'clunky'. Nice one.

We've all done that Colin (at least I have) - but well saved.

I think the seats look perfect now. Just like good old well used leather. Nice work.

Ironwork's looking great, Colin.

I like the added touch of the sun visor for the passenger.

Started on the cab roof,Got the main panel in place and added the netting/mesh on the doors

These are the components for the front "visors" the little parts are the outer bits for the "viewing slits"

Mackled twin wheels up for the rears

Wheels painted and weathered a bit, and storage boxes to attach over the rear wheels.

I'm really liking this Colin. Everything looks just like it should.

Care to tell us how you made the boxes please?

They're a balsa core, with coffee stirrers superglued to them, I split the stirrers length ways for scale and sand everything down when dry to give a decent edge etc.
The straps are thick silver foil which is superglued on and then a pin is used to give detail resembling nails/screws.
The clasp is a flattened bit of solder wire with the end split to resemble the hasp and staple type.
The whole thing is given a wash made from acrylic matt black (revell aqua) which, I think, gives a nice sunbleached worn look.

Thanks guys .... however ...... i posted and then looked at the photo today and realised i'd not added the machine guns in the towers and the front mudguards ..... total mind-burp time.

Got some canvass rolls etc made up and will add them during weathering so the next time you see this will hopefully be in the finished section (if i dont stand on it again  )

I wonder what it's like to be in the can firing the machine gun? Did they have ear plugs back then? Model is amazing. Nice work.

I'll bet you thought I'd forgotten about my tank.  Well since it's almost at the deadline, I need to finish it.   I got the camo sprayed on today.

Well, it's finished. I actually finished it Fri afternoon, but have busy cleaning up the carnage after the earthquake.
