Nice one Tony! You've given me some ideas for the GMC Astro kit in the stash
Thanks,

Chris if your interested the decals came from KFS in England. But with Howard going onto military models only he is only selling what he has in stock then that's it no more. Apart from the odd resin bits and bobs.

Fine work for certain. Luv the pinstripes! As to newer engines, yes, more complexity can mean more trouble, but if not for technology instead of sharing here, we'd be mailing fotos to everyone else! I had little faith in the complexity and affordability of the Toyota Prius, but they seem to do well considering the amount of technology and varied weather conditions. I guess it comes down to good designs and quality of components. At least your model isn't subject to recalls, thanx for great pics!

Nice work Tony! Pinstripes always look classy on a big rig. I recall seeing many trucks with them when I went to Australia in 2010.
Of course, the best looking ones were Western Stars! (biased because I worked for them)

The Western Stars do look nice pinned up. But what happened to the COE version. Was that just a passing phase when the rigs were badged up as Volvo/White or did Western Star just work in the same assembly plant as White. Because I have some old pic,s from the 70,s showing them as White/Western Star on the radiator top. Never have got my head around it as I thought they were two separate companies.
