1969 Dodge Super Bee
Hello Everybody!
I had this 1/24 Revell in my do-it-asap list, so here you are. I refreshed its looks with a modern look set of wheels and p.e. disc brakes, the big scoop in the kit was replaced by the dual scoop taken from the AMT's 1970 model. Some detail in the engine bay to match the 383ci V8.
Thanks for watching!
Nuno.

That's a cool looking 'Bee' Nuno.
Difficult to see the wheels. Any chance of a full on side photo please?

Nice clean work on this build and the engine bay looks good too. I'd love to see a WIP from you Nuno.

Very nice! The color is spot on perfect with the choice of stripe colors. From what I can see of the wheel and tire selection it looks like those fit the build beautifully. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see a WIP from you as well.

Re: 1969 Dodge Super Bee
Hi,
Thank you very much for your words. Sorry for the poor photos, no matter how I try I just can't get it right.
By chance I did take some photos as I was building it, for this Bee is a surprise bithday present I'm giving to a friend of mine who happens to be a muscle-car freak; it was built according his preferences never to let him notice the model was meant to him.
As I see no point to present the model under the 'works in progress' topic now, here you are a brief description of what I did:
I added a few p.e. details, such as the ignition key with a Chrysler key-chain in position, gauge bezels, door and trunk locks, seat belts clips, the bonnet pins and the '383' on the scoops. Bright trim is bmf and the antenna was made from a guitar string. The outer wheel rings were cut from a spare set and glued to a smaller set of wheels in order to fit in larger tyres and get a deeper rim. The disc brakes shouldn't fill the whole of the rim but they had to hide the original part that fits into the chassis.
Here you are a few more photos and thanks for watching.
